Male genitalia
Vinculum V-shaped with a small saccus. Tegumen arched with a very small dorsal plate with apical shoulders and a short sclerotised midline anterior projection. Gnathos median lobe ovoid. Sacculus broad: anteroventral margin scalloped (with 2 shallow concavities); anterolateral angle with a broad bluntly rounded process; lateral margin deeply scalloped with two concavities each side of a distinct narrow pointed lateral process; posterolateral angle with a narrow pointed process; posterodorsal margin with a very short pointed process which naturally sits perpendicular to the body of the sacculus. Valvula fairly broad with a rounded apex. Costa with a sclerotised plate extending anteroventrally from lateral end to meet the posterodorsal margin of the sacculus and provide the medial attachment of the valvula; costa extends medially as a straight on transtilla that does not meet its partner. Attachments: the posterior end of the vinculum is "free" in that there is no sclerotised attachment between it and the tegumen; the anterior end of the tegumen articulates with the costa. Juxta pedunculate, extends anteriorly from junction of the bases of the sacculus to fuse with the base of the tunica. Tunica 2-pronged, the prongs closely tethered to the apex; the left prong has a pointed apex; the right prong has a slightly broader apex with a small subapical tooth and another tooth at ½. Vesica with an elongate circumferentially sclerotised section posterior to and continuous with a narrow annulus; inside curve sclerotised anterior to annulus and contains a single slender cornutus. |
Male genital key: lateral margin of sacculus "W"-shaped with anterior, middle and posterior projections and emarginations between these projections; aedeagus with two long prongs one of which has a tooth at the apex and another ~⅓-½ from the apex
