Male genitalia
Vinculum V-shaped, saccus somewhat produced, posterior ends of sidearms fade away. Tegumen a relatively strong elongate arch with a ~quadrate dorsal plate; anterior ends of arch articulate with costa via a fairly discrete Y-shaped sclerotisation. Gnathos with relatively strong sidearms and a ~spherical median lobe. Sacculus: ALM fairly evenly curved; ALA with a very long curved seta; PLA with a slightly curved posteromedially directed process which partially crosses the valvula (naturally it is also directed away from the plane of the rest of the valva). Valvula elongate, fairly narrow. Costal margin with a very long curved seta arising near junction with valvula; diffuse costal sclerotisation extends across inner surface of valva towards sacculus. Transtilla short continuous with costa. Juxta a very short band connecting the bases of the sacculi to the base of the ventral surface of the tunica with a narrow anteroventral extension. Tunica simple, tapered in apical half. Vesica longer than tunica; annulus narrow diffuse, level with juxta; fairly short narrow sclerotisation of concave side of curve; comb of short cornuti about same length as sclerotisation and adjacent to it. |
