The pale costa of this species is narrow and poorly defined, such that it may be looked for in Group C.
Female genitalia
AP flimsy elongate domes; PA ~2.5xOP. S9 dorsal plate not sclerotised. AA from anterodorsal margins of OP ~1xOP. OP quadrate; PM scalloped; AM straight. Ostium central, bounded laterally and anteriorly by a rounded V-shaped keel. IV identifiable from ostium to just anterior to AM; only the sides sclerotised. DB long; flanked linear spiculation from IV for 2xOP, asymmetrical - the spiculation of the right flank extending further than that of the left both anteriorly and posteriorly; no tail. Remainder of DB very coiled with some very sparse fine spiculation. Junction with CB distinct. CB ovoid with a small thorn-like signum and a small linear scobinate patch. Female genital key: Ductus bursae with distinct spiculation in its posterior portion; corpus bursae with a small thorn signum and an additional linear spiculate patch
Note: no species in Group C (plain forewing) has both a thorn and a spiculate patch in the corpus bursae
